New safety interlocks from Pilz: PSENmlock mini and PSENslock 2

For more productivity - new small robust and strong door guards

When securing fences, a wide variety of factors such as the fence type, the respective installation situation and the specific use must be taken into account depending on the application. For this purpose, Pilz is expanding its range in the field of safety interlocks with two new sensors immediately: PSENmlock mini for space-critical applications and PSENslock 2 with an optimised hygienic design and in new variants with stainless steel components. As a result, both sensors offer particular advantages for the packaging and pharmaceutical industries as well as the food and beverage sector. Both safety interlocks are characterised by high manipulation protection and additional flexibility for the user. This has a positive effect on productivity.

PSENmlock mini

With its small size, the new safety interlock PSENmlock mini for the protection of persons is ideal for spatially critical applications such as valves or hoods. Thus, the actuator, which can be mounted in different ways, offers high flexibility in installation.

PSENslock 2

The new generation of the safety interlock PSENslock 2 offers more productivity through robust process interlocking: thanks to its robustness and protection rating IP67/IP6K9K, it can also be used in harsh and hygiene-critical conditions.

Suitable for industries with special requirements

Both safety interlocks offer particular advantages for the packaging and pharmaceutical industries as well as the food and beverage sector: PSENmlock mini and PSENslock 2 offer the right product characteristics for the stricter hygiene requirements in the pharmaceutical industry and the food and beverage sector thanks to their IP67 (IP6K9K) protection degree and special stainless steel variants. In addition, the robustness and flexibility of the safety interlocks also guarantee reliable gate management in the machine tool or paper processing industry, for example.
