Leuze - I can’t see it but I do hear it!

Ultrasonic sensors from Leuze: Multifunctional, compact and economic pricing!

Its 60th anniversary already indicates that Leuze is a reliable link for detecting and signalling in industrial automation. This is partly due to many patents and its presence in many machines, along conveyor belts, in factory halls and so on.

Besides the many possibilities with optical sensors, Leuze would especially like to underline that this is not the only thing they do. For example, the latest addition within their range of ultrasonic sensors is a completely new series of switching and measuring ultrasonic sensors HTU 200 and DMU 200 that  helps you when an optical or inductive sensor can't cope! Equipped with IO-Link and available in standard length, but also many "short body" shapes available.

The HTU 200 comes not only in the widely used M18 diameter version (range up to 1500 mm), but also in M12 version up to 400 mm ánd in the extremely narrow 8 mm design, especially for places with little space (100 mm scanning distance). The narrow opening angle allows detection even with very little space (e.g. filling height in bottles)!

If you do not want to switch, but want to measure, choose the DMU 200 Series an extension with analogue variants and Multiplex function, in 18 mm and 30 mm design, up to 6 metres working range!

All variants are extremely robust due to their metal housing and IP67 density class. Recognizing granules, liquids or powders is trouble-free; even when dealing with highly shiny-, transparent, dark objects: choose Leuze’s family of ultrasonic sensors! Various mounting options are available in stainless steel and plastic and even a handy bracket that makes angled exit of the sound simple!

Leuze: sensor specialist for detection, identification, optical data transmission and measuring sensors. Together with Itsme, we will help you further!

Leuze - Give me a tough question
In industrial automation, sensors are the eyes and ears of the machine or plant. By far the most commonly used binary switching sensors are inductive and optical. Inductive sensors are well suited to technical applications that require metal detection, such as monitoring start or end positions, valve position or speed controls. Optical sensors, however, have a much wider range of applications.

    TR Service - Future-proof low-voltage panel
TR-Service provides industrial maintenance using all disciplines, from electrical and mechanical to hydraulic and pneumatic. With support from Breemes, the company installed a large low-voltage panel. ‘After discussing my summary plan with them, I decided to just do it,’ says director-owner Raoul Tielens. At Breemes' suggestion, the panel was future-proofed by preparing it for power monitoring.

Eneco - Green light for green electricity and steam
Eneco Bio Golden Raand, located in the port area of Delfzijl, converts biomass into green electricity and green steam. Each year, the plant processes approximately 300,000 tons of waste wood from the Netherlands and neighboring countries. As part of Eneco’s climate ambitions, a project began in 2022 to replace the existing fluorescent lighting in and around the boiler room. The project was carried out under the supervision of itsme. “Two factors were important in this process: the cost, of course, but also the level of service.”
