In recent decades, hundreds of Carif semi-automatic and automatic CNC controlled band saw machines have been sold and installed at satisfied customers.
Solid machines produced by one of the oldest companies in the band saw market, which has proven itself in terms of reliability, speed and flexibility. Carif builds 3 different maintypes, 260, 320 and 450. All types are available in both semi-automatic and fully automatic CNC controlled.
The company was founded by Mr. Cesare Canna. It started as a small mechanical workshop for the production of accessories for machine tools. In 1952 CARIF built its first band saw machine with mechanical power supply. Since 1960 Carif has established its name internationally with the export of bow saws all over Europe. At the beginning of 1980 production switched to building band saw machines, which were exported all over the world. Since 1995 CARIF has also added a range of CNC controlled machines to their program. Today, Carif is leading with innovation and design. The third generation is now in charge of the Italian family company

Of course, we do not only sell machines. Our own Technical Department takes care of installation, commissioning, periodic maintenance and inspections. Any repairs or overhauls are also carried out on your CARIF band saw machine by our own employees.

The unique patented hydraulic system from CARIF is designed for fine adjustment of the lowering speed of the bracket and the cutting pressure. Thanks to this system the blade regularly descends with a constant auto-regulation for every material type, section and thickness

For the 260 models you need a width of 400mm, these roller conveyors have a load capacity of 900 kg/mtr.
For the 320 models you need a width of 400mm, these roller conveyors have a load capacity of 900 kg/mtr.
For the 450 models you need a width of 500mm, these roller conveyors have a load capacity of 900 kg/mtr.
Carif supplies two different measuring systems; an analogue and a digital system.
Practical and robust hard stop trolley assembled on 2 linear carriages. The unit is auto-lubricated for a smooth sliding on a T-guide rail which is aluminium anodised. Possibility to lift the trolley to free the roller tables from the material. Easy to mount on every type of roller unit. Delivered in quality robust box. Starting length: 2 meters, over 2 meters possible to extend every mt.

CARIF DMS is a modern and easy-to-use measuring system for precise and fast setting of the length to be cut. CARIF DMS is a robust and high-quality unit with a clearly readable LCD screen. The system is easy to mount on the Carif roller conveyors. The system is supplied without roller conveyors.

Conveyors
Of course, the CARIF band saws can be equipped with roller conveyors. Carif has a modular system, which is easy to connect and expand. Each module is 1 meter long and has 1 or 2 legs. Every first metre should be a version with 2 legs (model A) and every subsequent metre should be a version with 1 leg (model B). Measuring systems
Carif supplies two different measuring systems; an analogue and a digital system.
MS – Measuring System with graduated scale
Practical and robust hard stop trolley assembled on 2 linear carriages. The unit is auto-lubricated for a smooth sliding on a T-guide rail which is aluminium anodised. CARIF DMS is a modern and easy-to-use measuring system for precise and fast setting of the length to be cut. CARIF DMS is a robust and high-quality unit with a clearly readable LCD screen. The system is easy to mount on the Carif roller conveyors. The system is supplied without roller conveyors.Standard version:
