We automate your success, that is the slogan of Manders Automation. And that is exactly what the specialist builder from Venray does. The company makes unique installations as a solution for specific applications at the customer. It is almost a specialty in itself, that special construction. Also supported by a long-standing cooperation with itsme.
Can technology be even more diverse? You soon wonder, during a visit to Manders Automation. Here in Venray it's all about customization, unique solutions for specific questions. There are not many of a specialty builder such as this company, but perhaps a handful throughout Europe, says account manager Jan van Raaij. “We do everything ourselves. From engineering, production and testing to the final commissioning at the customer. An installation only goes away when we know for certain that it works optimally with the customer. We think very carefully about what we promise. And then implement it. "
Manders' total approach naturally requires sufficient technical knowledge among all sixty employees. Jan: “We do not make products that you can order in advance. Instead all our machines, supply lines and robot cells stem from specific questions. That requires experience in technology, including with me as a seller. Because just check: can a desired product be achieved technically? And if so, can the customer recoup the investment? It is up to us to answer such questions as early as possible. "
Around seventy percent of what Manders Automation does is dedicated to handling, assembly and connection technology. You could call it a common thread, although the diversity is wide enough. There are several sealing machines in the Manders hall, just like 3D scanning stations for a complete in-line inspection of parts. And what about the installation for the assembly of valves, with a cycle time of five seconds? Or that plasma treatment station for the pre-treatment of body parts?
Together, all these installations give a broad impression of how Manders Automation supports production companies from all kinds of sectors. Each mentioned machine includes a wealth of technology, developed and built in-house. And, says Jan, each time with a contribution from itsme. “We have been working with itsme for years, the company is among the top three of our suppliers. That's not for nothing: itsme is completely at home in Siemens, what our standard platform is and what we use in every project. We exchange a lot of ideas with itsme, for example about electric drives. They are economical and cost-effective and are therefore increasing, but how do you use them optimally? itsme advises us - and it does just as well unsolicited. "
Call it a matter of customer intimacy, says Thijs Hanssen, technical sales engineer at itsme. “We are a partner and serve our customers based on their unique questions. So we share our knowledge where possible, we tell our customers how they can further improve their own processes and we keep in very conscious contact with every layer of an organization. ” In short, a direct approach that Jan likes. “Itsme keeps the lines short, is easily approachable and simply makes our work easier. We don't like a company that only delivers, they understand that very well at itsme. ”
So many specific questions, so many unique solutions. It ensures that a specialist builder such as Manders Automation has a good view of the needs of the market. And so knows how to operate it, with standard products in addition to special construction. For example, there is the multifunctional Adaptix robot cell, with which companies can flexibly make multiple products by choosing only another mold within an automatic module. A solution such as Adaptix substantially reduces the Return on Investment (ROI) for a product, which also applies to Manders ’double spot welding machine, which can simultaneously process multiple welding techniques.
Jan also mentions the 3D inline product control developed by Manders Automation. “A production company can use it to view a product from all sides, assess it on multiple aspects and compare it to a master. Errors thus come to light at an early stage, which later prevents expensive failure costs. Moreover, you can analyze those errors right from the start. What goes wrong and how can you improve the process? This results in an objective final inspection, so that an end customer benefits from as many products as possible that meet the requirements. "
Faster, better and more, realized through thoughtful automation. See there the essence of the customer questions to Manders Automation. Jan thinks it is challenging. “Yet that technical challenge is our strength. We are solution-oriented, just like itsme. And with everything we do, we keep the customer constantly informed. That interaction, building with confidence: it is indispensable in everything we do. ”
Everything for a unique product
Manders Automation knows what is going on as a special builder

Technology in the broadest sense
Around seventy percent of what Manders Automation does is dedicated to handling, assembly and connection technology. You could call it a common thread, although the diversity is wide enough. There are several sealing machines in the Manders hall, just like 3D scanning stations for a complete in-line inspection of parts. "We can't use a company that delivers alone"
Call it a matter of customer intimacy, says Thijs Hanssen, technical sales engineer at itsme. “We are a partner and serve our customers based on their unique questions. Also standard solutions

Result of teamworkWith over 35 years of experience, Manders Automation is known to production companies as a specialist for the development and construction of automated industrial applications. The company has all disciplines for this, with the required knowledge spread over the sixty employees of the company. They are given the freedom there, and they all work independently. Just think of the "farmer's son" type, says Jan van Raaij, account manager at Manders Automation. “A farmer's son first thinks up something, then checks which things are already there and turns them into products. That method typifies most of us. And also: we realize what it means to work in teams. A project here is not the result of the input from five people involved, but really the sum of it. Customers know and appreciate that. " |
