To give the dullness of the blue and black hose and your machine a modern look, Festo has introduced the "transparent" and coloured hose. Of course it also has a major technical advantage: you have direct insight into the quality of your compressed air! Monitoring has never been easier.
For some time now, Festo has given its most used hose PUN an up-grade: PUN-H. The H stands for Hydrolysis which means that this hose is more resistant to the influence of water, UV radiation and microbes. Water up to 50° C does not affect the quality of the hose. This property makes the PUN-H suitable for use in practically any environment and process; the new standard!
Hoses are more than "accessories" in a pneumatic system. In fact, these components are actually just as important as the most advanced valve island or the most comprehensive air supply unit. After all, they are responsible for the proper transport of the medium of compressed air, which at the end of the journey must still be of the same excellent quality as at the point where it was generated.
Hoses are sometimes like "black boxes". It is not always clear what actually happens to the compressed air in those dark tunnels. In order to carry out this check easily, Festo created a new standard some time ago: the PUN H-T, available in different colors and also in a transparent version.
