Weidmüller - Managed Switches - make the switch now!
Setting up an Industrial network that meets the requirements of a future-proof infrastructure with high availability, reliability and transparency is becoming increasingly important. Increasingly, switch boxes, the un-managed switches, are therefore being exchanged for managed variants.
Managed switches, or managed switches, increase network availability by using redundancies and control mechanisms, as well as network diagnostics. Configuration is Web-based with a simple and intuitive user interface.
To meet all the requirements of industrial networks, our managed switches are available in four different lines:
- ValueLine
- AdvancedLine
- PremiumLine
- SubstantionLine
The advantages of our managed switches include:
- Reliability through secure redundancy systems
- Usable in most environments thanks to extensive certifications (UL, ATEX, DNV/GL, IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliance)
- Available for any application area through a huge variety of port numbers and media types
- Support of indutrial protocols such as PROFINET-RT, EtherNet/IP and Modbus/TCP for optimal integration into the most common automation networks
Extensive feature list:
- Redundancy
- Security (radius,IEEE 802.1X, access list)
- Vlan IEEE 802.1Q
- CoS/TOS
- EBR module for easy maintenance
- PoE variants
- L3 variants
Lite models:
- With 5 or 6 ports
- Port based Vlan
- Standard redundancy
- Loop protection
- Modbus TCP slave

Eneco - Green light for green electricity and steamRead moreEneco Bio Golden Raand, located in the port area of Delfzijl, converts biomass into green electricity and green steam. Each year, the plant processes approximately 300,000 tons of waste wood from the Netherlands and neighboring countries. As part of Eneco’s climate ambitions, a project began in 2022 to replace the existing fluorescent lighting in and around the boiler room. The project was carried out under the supervision of itsme. “Two factors were important in this process: the cost, of course, but also the level of service.”
