NatureConnect brings natural light indoors

90% of the time indoors

In a time where we work and live indoors more and more, the importance of light is growing. On average, we spend 90% of our time indoors, which ultimately affects our well-being, happiness and productivity in the workplace. The lack of natural light results in health complaints, depressed moods and declining productivity. The best remedy for this is, of course, natural sunlight. But if that is not possible, then lighting from NatureConnect is the best alternative.

Biophilic Design

Based on proven Biophilic Design principles, NatureConnect mimics the natural patterns and cycles of natural light. The commitment is to remain connected to the natural corridor inherent in sunlight despite the confines of concrete walls and other architectural obstacles. The result is that interior spaces are not only experienced as pleasant and inspiring, but also increase productivity.

Natural experience

For a seamless transition from natural sunlight to artificial sunlight, different LED fixtures are used. These fixtures can be divided into three light points which are attached to the ceiling and wall:

Daylight:

Mimics the sun's daily rhythm to keep people active during the day and well rested at night according to the melanopic spectrum.

Sky light:

Provides a view of the sky to encourage a sense of space and connection with nature.

Lightscape:

Projects natural colors and dynamics on the wall for a completely natural experience.

Daily rhythm

Central to NatureConnect is the simulation of daylight. This dynamic light setting, set by default, follows the natural cycle of the sun. This provides different types of rooms with the right light intensity appropriate for different parts of the day. Moreover, if required, a user-friendly interface can be used to select from different light settings to better match the light to specific work activities.

The quality of indoor lighting is influenced by many factors. You can improve the quality with smart adjustments and investments. Therefore, for appropriate advice, let the lighting experts advise you.

Connected Business - Vendor Managed Inventory
The Lean improvement method distinguishes eight waste categories. One of these is 'inventory'. Too much stock is not good, but neither is too little. After all, having stock also provides the safe feeling of availability in times of uncertain internal planning and external factors that cannot be directly influenced. Because optimising availability both in one's own company and in the supply chain is often not the core competence of our customers, itsme can take over the care of such optimisation, for example through the import and management of so-called Vendor Managed Inventory systems. But, how do you know whether VMI is indeed the right solution? Ralph van Aartsen can answer that crucial question - using five questions. Here, in advance, are his answers to our questions on VMI.
