Leuze - Spot on! Simple and targeted detection
For the detection of the most diverse objects, sometimes a simple solution is conceivable: a Leuze photocell with a competitive price and excellent performance!
Whether in intralogistics applications (detection of bins, boxes, pallets, racks, etc.) or in packaging technology, where compact construction and standardization are important, or in one of many other applications: reliable detection does not have to be expensive.
Series 5B photoelectric sensors
The series 5B photocells are comprehensive and equipped for many applications. They are available as reflector photocells, for direct reflection (probe) or as separate transmitter-receiver systems. They are suitable for different ways of connection, equipped with a bright LED indication, visible over long distances. Your advantage: fast commissioning and alignment. Standard in density, IP67- and ECOLAB-certified.
The reflector photoelectric sensors are even capable of reliably recognizing, for example, foil-wrapped objects (such as pallets). Probes with exact background suppression see only what you want to see. And the separated transmitter-receiver variants even switch at 900 Hz!
With the narrow beam (red light) and solid housing, a modern sensor family has been added.
Standardization can save a lot of money. Here it helps if you can suffice with only one or a few types: in addition to cost reduction at purchase, fewer spare parts are needed. Smart technology combined with a satisfied buyer, who doesn't want that?
As soon as the requirements become more stringent or the application more difficult, Leuze doesn't leave you alone either: the sensors of the "extended" and "advanced" series offer solutions for the most extreme conditions. Be it heated sensors, variants with even higher density, IO-Link communication, laser variants or other, special optical versions: get advice from an expert at itsme. We can often find a suitable sensor to solve your detection problem.

Leuze - Give me a tough questionRead moreIn industrial automation, sensors are the eyes and ears of the machine or plant. By far the most commonly used binary switching sensors are inductive and optical. Inductive sensors are well suited to technical applications that require metal detection, such as monitoring start or end positions, valve position or speed controls. Optical sensors, however, have a much wider range of applications.

Leuze - 3C SeriesRead moreThe size of a sugar cube in our 3C Series of sensors: the ODT3CL1 laser distance sensor up to 2 metres accurate! Within this Series/design are many function principles in various versions. Characteristic are the many variants (in terms of sensing principle, - optics, - connection technology or - specific applications filling in) which often also feature integrated IO Link communication.

Sekisui AlveoRead moreFoam producer Sekisui Alveo has a large factory in Roermond. To support production and maintenance, warehouses and distribution points with thousands of different items are spread across the various halls. Think spare parts, personal protection equipment and consumables. The company cooperates intensively with itsme for management, such as recently with the step-by-step introduction of vendor managed inventory (VMI) for the grab stock of mechanical items.

IECRead moreTo control the expansion of a silo park, engineering & construction company IEC called on Breemes. Being involved in the engineering from the beginning, the electrical service provider was able to make smart proposals for both the low-voltage part and the PLC control. ‘We have always been able to find each other well and when changes occurred, we were quickly on the same page with Breemes.’

Heliox - Charged for DeliveryRead moreHeliox, a developer and manufacturer of charging systems for electric buses and trucks, was already working with itsme when production still took place in the Netherlands. Today, production has shifted to Slovakia, Portugal, and Moldova, and is also happening in the US. itsme remains the “irreplaceable” partner for the supply of electrical components and cable harnesses.

BLOK System SupplyRead moreBlok System Supply and itsme have maintained an intensive relationship for many years. Early last year, this was further deepened with electronic data exchange via the Smart Connected Supplier Network. ‘It saves an enormous amount of time and reduces errors. We always have real-time information automatically.’ However, time for personal contact is not saved. ‘That is precisely what makes itsme a very nice party to work with.’
