Legrand - single-phase, open control and signaling transformers

With transformers you bring the quality of your power up to standard. In Legrand's power distribution range you will find single-phase, open control and signaling transformers with capacities up to 8000VA. These transformers conform to standards IEC EN 61558-2-2 and-2-6 or -2-4 and UL 5058/CSA C22-2 -No66

Features of this range of transformers include:

  • An insulation voltage between the windings of 4510V
  • A maximum ambient temperature of 50°C
  • A protection against involuntary or accidental contact with live parts up to 1000VA.

According to the power (up to 1000VA), the transformer is constructed in 3 sizes:

  • Size 1 to 250VA: transformer base with center distance 100mm
  • Size 2 up to 400VA: transformer base with center distance 125mm
  • Size 3 to 1000VA: transformer base with center distance 175mm

What are the advantages of these transformers?

  • Thanks to a unique design (housing, color: Ral 7035), you manage to easily attach and connect any transformer from this range.
  • The markings on the transformer are indelible and grouped at the front. This allows you to read characteristics such as standardization, permitted voltage, caliber of the protection unit at a glance and in the same place.
  • Each transformer possesses a flat holder for self-adhesive marking.
  • You can attach the transformers for all powers both on plates and on rails. Up to an output of 250VA, you click a transformer onto a rail without additional mounting.
  • Thanks to visibly shielded connections on the transformer, connection quality remains optimally guaranteed.
  • The transformer's ground terminal is located on the secondary winding. With every order we automatically supply a terminal strip for a quick connection to the secondary 0V.
  • Thanks to a +/- 15V on the terminal strip of the primary winding, the underloading of a device can be compensated by an adjustment to the utility grid.
