A motion CPU module is a dedicated CPU for highly dynamic motion, designed solely for applications that require advanced motion control, such as positioning, synchronous control or speed/torque control with very high accuracy. A motion system must contain a PLC CPU in addition to a motion CPU. Only the combination of highly dynamic positioning control and PLC creates an innovative autarkic motion control system. Special features: For extensive control systems with up to 192 axes per system, up to 3 motion CPU modules can be installed on one system, high-speed data communication between CPUs through exchange via a large-capacity buffer memory, a variety of different applications can be easily realised, programming in sequential language enables the definition of clearly recognisable steps, communication with high-performance servo amplifiers via the high-speed network SSCNETIII/H with up to 150 Mbit/s.
