New high power relay for printed circuit boards from Finder

POWERING THE GREEN REVOLUTION

Thanks to its specific design and technical specifications, the new Finder Series 68 power relay can switch exceptionally high loads, making it a perfect fit for energy production and distribution and, in particular, for the global demand for green sustainable mobility.

The relay can be used in charging stations of up to 55 kW, inverters, battery chargers, emergency power generators and in many other renewable energy applications.

The relay can also be installed in emergency power supplies (UPS), in pump control panels and in automation panels for heavy lifts.

The relay is suitable for mounting and connection via a printed circuit board. Thanks to its two 100 A specified make contacts, the Type 68.22 can realise the complete switching of a three-phase + neutral load up to 100 A using only 2 relays. This provides significant savings compared to previous technologies.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

The Series 68 power relay has been designed through careful analysis of the specific application areas and market requirements, combined with Finder know-how in relay design and construction.

Completely MADE IN ITALY, it offers low coil consumption, a holding power of only 0.7 W, a compact size and a modern design; result of collaboration with Milan-based design studio Fossati | Minelli.

With a contact distance of 3.6 mm between open contacts, it complies with VDE 0126-1-, EN 62109-1 and EN 62109-2 standards. It is also heat and fire resistant according to EN 60335-1 (GWIT 775 °C and GWFI 850 °C).

Specifications of Type 68.22-4300:

  • 2 make contacts 100 A
  • Available in 12 and 24 VDC coil voltage
  • Rated/maximum switching voltage 400/690 VAC
  • Nominal load AC1 40000 VA
  • Air and creepage distance 8 mm
  • Contact material AgSnO2
  • Ambient temperature -40... + 85 °C
